Students must complete all of the following requirements in addition to the requirements for a bachelor of arts major to graduate with this minor. Some courses may apply toward multiple requirements.

Minor Requirements:

Total minor units: 4-6, depending on language proficiency

Four to Six Units in German, Depending on Language Proficiency:

If Starting with First-Year German:

GER 111 - Beginning German I
GER 112 - Beginning German II
GER 211 - Intermediate German I
GER 212 - Intermediate German II
GER 311 - Advanced German I: Twentieth-Century Art and Politics (Berlin)
One additional unit in German at the 300 level or higher (excluding 470)

If Starting with Second-Year German

GER 211 - Intermediate German I
GER 212 - Intermediate German II
GER 311 - Advanced German I: Twentieth-Century Art and Politics (Berlin)
One additional unit in German at the 300 level or higher (excluding 470)

If Starting Beyond Second-Year German Proficiency:

GER 311 - Advanced German I: Twentieth-Century Art and Politics (Berlin)
Three additional units in German at the 300 level or higher (excluding 470)
