This minor may not be paired with the Russian major. This minor may be paired with the American Studies major, provided the field of concentration required for the major is not the same as the minor. This minor may be paired with the Biology (Alternate Program) major, provided 3 or more units of the nonscience field of concentration do not overlap.

Students must complete all of the following requirements in addition to the requirements for a bachelor of arts major to graduate with this minor. Some courses may apply toward multiple requirements.

If Starting with First-Year Russian:

RUSS 111 - First-Year Russian I
RUSS 112 - First-Year Russian II
RUSS 211 - Second-Year Russian I
RUSS 212 - Second-Year Russian II
Two additional units at the 200 level or higher (excluding 470)
⇒A minimum of one in Russian literature not in translation taken at Reed

If Starting with Second-Year Russian:

RUSS 211 - Second-Year Russian I
RUSS 212 - Second-Year Russian II
Two additional units at the 200 level or higher (excluding 470)

If Starting Beyond Second-Year Russian Proficiency:

Four units of Russian courses at the 200 level or higher (excluding 470)
