Five Units of History:
⇒The same course may fulfill both a geographical and a chronological requirement
⇒A maximum of two cross-listed courses from other departments may be included
⇒Students should inquire with the history department about appropriate substitutions
Chronological requirement:
⇒A minimum of one unit before 1800
⇒A minimum of one unit after 1800
Geographical requirement:
⇒A minimum of one unit of European history
⇒A minimum of one unit of United States history
⇒A minimum of one unit of history from areas outside Europe, the United States, and Canada
