Students must complete all of the following requirements in addition to the requirements for a bachelor of arts major to graduate with this minor. Some courses may apply toward multiple requirements.

Total minor units: 5

Five Units of Dance Courses

Breadth requirement

Dance Studies & Studio:
⇒A minimum of one unit in dance studio
⇒A minimum of one unit in dance studies
⇒Courses that satisfy the dance studies requirement may not simultaneously satisfy the dance studio requirement, and vice versa.
A minimum of one unit of the above requirements (studio or studies) must focus on dance outside the Euro-American tradition (DANC 241 , DANC 265 , DANC 362 , DANC 365 )

Level requirement

A maximum of one unit may be at the 100 level. Credit for dance technique courses (DANC 101 ) may be applied toward this requirement.
A minimum of one unit must be at the 300 level or higher (excluding 470)
