Major Requirements:

This program requires an application to declare the major, approved by the History-Literature Committee.
Two Units from the Following:
Four Units in History (excluding 411, 470)
Four Units in Literature (excluding 301, 302, 470)
Two Units in Literature or Composition Not in Translation at the 300 Level or higher (excluding 301, 302, 470)
Junior Year Requirements:
One additional unit of a junior seminar from the following:
Junior Qualifying Examination
Recommended, but Not Required:

- Two additional units in the Division of History and Social Sciences
- Two additional units in literature
