Curriculum

Many departments in the Division of Literature and Languages offer courses in which the texts are read in English translation. These are noted with a LIT subject code. Students with appropriate language skills register for the section in the department’s subject code (e.g. CHIN for Chinese, GER for German, etc.), to fulfill “not in translation” requirements. These students often meet in additional sessions for content in the original language.
