THEA 205 - Fundamentals of Acting and Performance: Text This course introduces students to the craft of acting and actor-driven performance creation, with a focus on scene study. We will base our activities in Stanislavskian theatre methods, as well as exercises drawn from Spolin and/or Boal. The course will include script analysis, objectives and actions, physicalization, character development, and vocal resonance and projection.

Notes: This course is intended to complement THEA 204 ; THEA 204 and THEA 205 may be taken in any sequence. May be repeated for credit with permission of the instructor.
