ECON 367 - Economic Perspectives on Migration

This course examines the economic causes and consequences of migration, both domestic and international, throughout the world. We will explore the economic outcomes of migrants as well as the impact of migration on the communities they leave behind. A key focus will be the empirical strategies used in the articles we read, with an emphasis on understanding how researchers in this field address econometric challenges and identify causal relationships.
