Students must complete all of the following requirements to graduate with a bachelor of arts in this program. Some courses may apply toward multiple requirements. College Requirements: Students are required to complete all standard college requirements.

Major Requirements:
Total major units: 16.5-17.5, depending on mathematics proficiency A minimum of 30 units is required for the Bachelor of Arts degree from Reed College. Students who study off-campus may fulfill some major requirements with transfer coursework with values different from those listed below. Students should work with their academic advisor and the neuroscience committee to confirm such substitutions. Five and One-Half Units of Introductory Courses
Two units of introductory biology:
One and one-half unit of introductory psychology:
A minimum of one-half unit of methods laboratory (two labs):
Two units of introductory chemistry:
Two Units From the Following Core Neuroscience Courses
Four Units of Advanced Courses
Two units from the following biology courses:
Two units from the following psychology courses:
=> A minimum of one unit must include lab. Two Units of Additional Science from Any of the Following Courses
Two Units of Quantitative Reasoning from the Following Courses
Two units of Thesis
⇒Thesis candidates must submit three brief proposals to the Neuroscience Committee. |
