Major Requirements Total degree units: 9 Each student proposes an individual program, incorporating the degree requirements below. Exceptions must be approved in advance by the Committee on Graduate Studies. Proposals should be addressed to the committee no later than the first day of classes of the term before the thesis.
Eight units A minimum of four units of Reed MALS courses (numbered 500 or higher, excluding 670) A maximum of four 300- and 400-level undergraduate courses at any unit value (including undergraduate course-based independent study numbered as 581) A maximum of five units in: ⇒A single undergraduate department or division OR ⇒Liberal studies (LBST) courses and MALS 670 (thesis)
